What are USY and Kadima?

 

USY stands for United Synagogue Youth and is the youth movement of Conservative Judaism. On the International level, USY has over 20,000 members in grades 7 to 12. These members are divided into seventeen regions. Beth Hillel USY is a chapter in Northeast Region. Each Region is made up of chapters from local synagogues.  Kadima is similar to USY except that the programming is geared to those in younger grades. 

 

 

What does Kadima do?

 

Kadima is a chapter based youth program. About every six weeks, BHS Kadima will sponsor social, educational, and social action programming for the youth of BHS in grades 6 to 8.
