The rear Beth Hillel Synagogue sanctuary doors unfold permitting the entire congregation to worship together during the High Holidays. We hold special children's services in different rooms depending on age concurrent with our adult service. Nonetheless, children are welcome to pray with their parents in the main sanctuary. We welcome families openly!
Membership covers High Holiday tickets at no charge. College and graduate students receive free of charge High Holiday tickets. Non-members must purchase their High Holiday tickets for a nominal amount. For non-members praying at Beth Hillel Synagogue for the first time High Holiday tickets are free of charge. We do ask for a donation which may be applied toward first year membership dues. Beth Hillel has a policy to accept High Holiday tickets from another USCJ Conservative synagogue in another city. Everyone is welcome to our services!
Babysitting is available for all morning High Holiday services. Please contact the synagogue office for details.
Slichot services will be held at Tikvah Chodesh this year with all the other local Conservative Synagogues.
Tashlich, the casting away of one's sins into the sea, will be held at 6:00 p.m. on the second day of Rosh Hashanah at the brook near the synagogue.
We welcome everyone's participation in our services! Please contact us if you would like an aliyah, to read Torah or Haftarah, , blow Shofar or have any other honor.
